Longarm Quilting Services.
We offer Edge to Edge computerized quilting. This means that the quilting design covers your quilt uniformly in an allover design. You can select from one of our available designs or contact us for other options if you have something specific in mind. Quilting service bookings can be made here.
Pricing.
Edge to edge designs are charged at a rate of $0.035 per square inch. This price includes the quilting service and thread.
Multiply the length of your quilt top by the width in inches (rounded to the nearest inch) and then multiply that by $0.035.
There is a minimum charge of $55.00 per quilt. If the size of your quilt is smaller than 1572 square inches then you will be charged a flat rate of $55.00.
All prices are in $CAD.
Turnaround Time.
Quilts are quilted and returned to you within two weeks of their arrival at our studio. Rush service is often available upon request for an additional fee. Please contact us for more information.
Batting.
You can either supply your own batting or choose from our inventory of Quilter’s Dream battings that can be purchased by the linear inch. Additional details about what is available can be found on our batting page. Non-stock battings, including packaged batting, can be ordered upon request.
Other Services.
Trimming - Excess batting and backing are trimmed off before your quilt is returned to you - $15.00
Prepare Binding - Cut binding strips on straight grain, attach them together with bias seams, fold in half and press. - $28.00
Attach Binding - Attach binding to the front of your quilt so it’s ready for you to finish at home by either machine or by hand. - $0.25/linear inch
Machine Finished Binding - Your binding will be attached and then turned and finished with a machine stitch. The stitch will be visible on the back binding. - $0.35/linear inch
Hand Finished Binding - Your binding will be attached and then turned and expertly hand finished using ladder stitch in a matching thread. - $0.42/linear inch
